St. Anthony de Padua Youth Group is built on the National Conference of Catholic Bishops’ comprehensive model of youth ministry. We are a fellowship and formation group that meets once a month for food, fun activities, prayer, and service.
We host a middle school level group for youth in grades 6-8 and a high school level group for youth in grades 9-12. All youth in our parish are welcome from any school or home school.
At this time the Youth Group is on hold. We are seeking a volunteer to lead Youth Ministry at St. Anthony. This includes planning Youth Group Meetings, events, prayer opportunities, and service. If you are interested in filling this role, please contact our Parish Office at 574-282-2308 or church@stasb.org.
We will meet regularly with the help of many adult volunteers from the parish. Teens will be offered a variety of means to fully walk with Christ on their faith journey. Catechesis, prayer, community building, and service will all be part of our mission.
All meeting times and events will be posted on this site, through our Facebook page, and we'll keep you notified on an email listserv.
The Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend and St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Parish requires that all employees and volunteers complete the Safe Environment Training Program regardless of their level of contact with children. The program teaches adults how to create and maintain a safe environment in which all persons, especially children, can grow in faith. This training is meant to help protect children and also those adults who minister to them. Training info.
