Women of the parish gathered on Sat. May 15 for a day of prayer and renewal. The morning started with Mass followed by a Rosary. Then we enjoyed breakfast and a presentation from Carolyn Pirtle, Program Director for Notre Dame's Center for Liturgy at the McGrath Institute for Church Life. Carolyn spoke about ways of praying based on her new book "Ten Ways to Pray," and then led us through praying the Litany of Loretto with the stained glass windows on the west side of the Church.
Sr. Mercy Briola of the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration spoke after lunch about praying in Adoration. We concluded the day with Jesus, praying in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Thank you to all the women who attended and continue to shine Christ's Light through their lives.
