Hello St. Anthony Parish Community!  

I had the incredible honor of being one of the 18 men to be ordained as a Deacon for the Diocese of Fort Wayne South Bend on 1/7/23! We were blessed with instructors from the Theology Department of the University of Notre Dame and other well-respected guest professors chosen by our Bishop, the Very Reverend Kevin C. Rhoades.

My wife Tracey and I were born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. I have to say, it is truly a blessing to be married to my best friend for more than 35 years! We moved our family to the South Bend area in 1997 when our daughters were 5 and 3.  This is home for them!

Ashley has been married to Coilin Walsh for nearly 7 years.  They live in Mishawaka with their two wonderful daughters Maeve (4) and Ellie Grace (2).

Alissa is currently working on her doctorate degree in opera performance and directing at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  

Professionally speaking, I have been a banker for over 35 years, 27 with National City/PNC Bank. The majority of my banking career has been invested in helping business owners grow their business and take care of their employees. Tracey is the Associate Director of Finance at the Mendoza College of Business.

The Plenzler family first met Fr. Arthur early in his first semester at Notre Dame. We think of him as another member of our family! We are blessed to have such an intelligent, holy, and humble man as pastor of our St. Anthony Parish family!
