I thank the Lord that He has called me to serve in your community, along side all of you. When Bishop and Rhoades told me that he was sending me to St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Parish, one of my first thoughts was about how happy I will be in a parish with a school. Working with students and teachers has been one of my greatest passions. I have spent a lot of time planning and working with our principal, Mrs. Karen Bogol. I am grateful for her amazing leadership and her dedication to our school and parish community.
I can’t wait to get to know all of you here. Please invite me to your homes – I’m happy to eat all of your food! (Supposedly the food is better in South Bend, according to my brother priests.) Also I appreciate feedback, so please feel welcome to come and speak with me if you have any concerns about the parish.
Together we are going to do wonderful things in service to the Lord. As your pastor, I will work hard to give you all the tools you need to go out and make disciples.
God's Blessings to you!
