Participate in a self-guided pilgrimage to sites in our diocese of special Eucharistic significance - in terms of history, devotion, patronage, art, beauty, and education. Visit one site each month throughout the course of the Eucharistic Revival Diocesan Year (June 2022-June 2023). Your pilgrimage passport is available at diocesefwsb.org/eucharist or at the button below!
Download your pilgrimage passport and fill it in yourself each time you visit a site (e.g., just handwrite the date of your visit). Visit six sites or more during the Diocesan Year and bring it to either of the two Catholic bookstores in our diocese to receive a free gift – Divine Mercy Gifts in South Bend or Good Shepherd Books & Gifts in Fort Wayne. The pilgrimage site for June was Notre Dame’s Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
Located at 2130 Pemberton Drive, Fort Wayne, the first perpetual adoration chapel in the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend opened at St. Jude parish in Fort Wayne on October 28, 1984 – the Feast of Saint Jude. Our Lord has been adored in this chapel for more than one million continuous hours. When you visit, look for the pamphlet recounting the history of the chapel as well as information on how to make a holy hour before the Blessed Sacrament.
The entrance to the adoration chapel is the red door on the north side of the Parish Office Building.
