Virtual Prayer Service with Bishop Rhoades at St. Joe HS, 1pm

In this Year of St. Joseph, join Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades for a prayer service on the Solemnity of St. Joseph, March 19, at 1 p.m. The prayer service will be livestreamed from the Chapel of St. Joseph at Saint Joseph High School. To participate, visit the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend YouTube or Facebook pages by searching “@diocesefwsb.” This event will be also be made available in Spanish through the Hispanic Ministry on Facebook @MinisterioHispanoFWSB.

Litany of Saint Joseph after Stations, 5:30pm

Join us for Stations of the Cross on Friday at 5:30pm, where Fr. Ben will lead the Litany of St. Joseph after praying the Stations. 

Mass & Italian Fest at St. Monica, 5:30pm

Join us Friday, March 19th, 2021 for Holy Mass at 5:30pm then stop by the Parish Activity Center immediately after to pick up your Italian Meal To-Go. Dinner will include all the items you need to make a delicious Italian dinner at home. There will be bread, pasta (to prepare at home), sauce, meatballs, and dessert. Cost: $20/meal for two. Tickets will be pre-sold after weekend Masses and at the parish office. Tickets limited. Solemn High Mass for the Feast of St. Joseph at St. Joe Mishawaka, 6:30pm

Solemn High Mass in the Extraordinary Form for the Feast of St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church, and our local patron here at St. Joseph Church, Mishawaka. Aids for participation will be provided with texts of the Mass, translations, and rubrics for sitting, standing and kneeling. Indulgences Associated with the Year of Saint Joseph

Pope Francis on Tuesday announced a special year dedicated to St. Joseph starting from 8 December 2020 until 8 December 2021, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the proclamation of St. Joseph as the Patron of the universal Church, as well as the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady. The Apostolic Penitentiary also issued a decree granting special indulgences for the duration of the special year to celebrate the anniversary and “to perpetuate the entrustment of the whole Church to the powerful patronage of the Custodian of Jesus.” Learn more.
