Some very exciting news was shared at Mass this weekend (December 15/16). I am pleased to share that the Board of Directors of the Mary Cross Tippmann Foundation approved a grant of $140,000 to St. Anthony de Padua for capital improvements, including new whiteboads, carpeting, and SmartBoards for each classroom in our school.
This grant is an answer to many prayers and to intercessions to our patron, Saint Anthony, and I am hopeful that this is the first of many grants to come. I would like to update to LED lighting througout the campus, new ceiling tiles in the school, new doors for each classroom and entryway, and new signage across our campus. We also need a new school roof and a new boiler system in the school (our boilers are original to the building - from the 1950's!).
These improvements will have a significant impact in our parish community, and we see the Grace of God working in our lives here everyday as slowly but surely we tackle all of these important and needed initiatives.
Please share this good news with other families, with the community, and with your friends! Let us offer a prayer of thanksgiving for the Mary Cross Tippmann Foundation and the incredible graces we've received here at St. Anthony.
