On this holy night, the Church keeps watch, celebrating the resurrection of Christ in the sacraments and awaiting his return in glory. It is the turning point of the Triduum, the Passover of the new covenant, which marks Christ's passage from death to life.

The Easter Vigil begins with a blazing fire outside so that the we may gather around it and experience the flames dispelling the darkness and lighting up the night.
We will process in, lighting candles from the new Pascal Candle, lit from the flames of fire.
During the liturgy, we welcome our new members into the Church who will receive their Sacraments of Initiation.
